Pushpak Mehta
Pushpak started yoga as life-style. When growing up, he would watch his father and learn Padmasan and Shirshasan not knowing these were formal yoga asanas. He later then learned from Jain monks and books, such as Iyengar’s Light On Yoga, pushing himself to perfect many asanas. He also learned pranayama from his father and further solidified his knowledge by studying with Jain monks. His practice however was never the same since his 2 little fairies (his children) started to teach him. He takes yoga to a different level not just with exercise of the body but also exercise of the mind. When you practice with Pushpak, expect to push your boundaries and learn that there is always next…

Liz Leatherberry
Liz has a big heart for her students and teaches yoga to share the joy and peace that comes with a strong body, mind and spirit. She is a musician and brings this passion to the mat through the exploration of sound as a source of healing and inspiration. She strives to foster a caring, playful environment where students of all ages will fall in love with yoga.
She is excited to deepening her yoga and teaching practice with Pushpak Mehta. In addition to assisting with Push-Yoga, she is currently teaching yogis through the Children’s Bureau, Inc. and enjoys offering workshops for schools. Liz completed her master’s degree at Northwestern University in Music Education in 2011, 200-Hour YA Certified Teacher Training with Christine Yovanovich in 2015 and 20 hours of training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in 2019.
Nirali Shah Learned yoga as a kid with mom who inspired her a lot. She loves dancing and has taken formal classical Indian dance training. Some classical dance steps are similar to yoga poses and that was another reason for exploring and getting deeper in yoga. She is growing her yoga practice and teaching with Pushpak Mehta. In addition to assisting with Push-Yoga, she is currently teaching yogis through the Gujarati samaj, Balvihar, and beginner Push-Yoga class Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. She enjoys helping family and friends any help they need. Nirali completed her 200-Hour YA Certified Teacher Training with Yogamu in 2024. “Transforming your body, mind and spirit beyond your imagination with persistence and practice.”. Yoga is the path to reach your inner soul.
